How to convert a PDF to an editable Word file

Turn a PDF into a Word document when you need to revise text without rebuilding from scratch.

PDF to Word is for drafts and policies you must edit. It creates a Word file from your PDF so you can change wording, then export back to PDF later. Best results come from text-based PDFs.

When PDF to Word is the right move

Use it when the text must change. Keep the PDF when the layout must stay fixed for signing or filing.

How to use it

  1. Open PDF to Word and upload your PDF.
  2. Run the conversion and wait for the file to finish.
  3. Rename if needed, then download the Word file.
  4. Edit in Word or Google Docs as needed.

Tip: After editing, use Word to PDF if you need a shareable PDF again.
